Theological Fight Club is the leadership training ground for college men at Mars Hill. TFC is a 7 week crash course in being a disciple of Jesus.  If you want to grow in your understanding of Jesus, His word and how it applies to your life, join TFC. If you have questions about Christianity, the Bible, or anything like that, TFC is a great place to find some answers.

Teams:
Each guy is put on a TFC team no larger than 7 Prospects and 1 Trainer. The Prospects name the team and follow the lead of the Trainer.

Trainers:
Trainers are men that have gone through Theological Fight Club already, are leading Community Groups, or are in the process of becoming a leader at Mars Hill Church. Most of the men are in the Deacon Process. Ages of Trainers vary, but many are college aged.

Prospects:
Prospects are men that are current or potential followers of Jesus. These men are learning from and about God through His Word. The Trainer assigns each Prospect a chapter of the book being studied. The Prospects are then responsible for briefly teaching through their respective chapter on the assigned week, and being the “expert” on the theological and applicable issues at hand in each chapter.

Post Mortem:
After the Prospect briefly teaches through his assigned chapter the rest of the team will give him quick and concise constructive feedback on presentation style, pace, focus, emphasis etc. Then the team will question the Prospect regarding the relevant theological issues and practical applications in the chapter at hand.

Additionally, TFC will be setup to identify Community Group Leaders and form new Community Groups.

TFC is the perfect place to jump in if you are new to Mars Hill or the College Ministry.

Theological Fight Club will take place over a series of seven Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:30pm starting Tuesday, October 7.
